Graham, if you truly paint the ol gal then this will replace Tom's "shovel-glide" thread as my number one thread on the forum, HDForums all in all inclusive of all sub-forums.
I am waiting with baited breath.
Merry Christmas to our HD guru on the other side of the pond.

I agree ... This might/could/would be a MAJOR NEWS STORY ... More to Follow ???
I've been wondering when a "Color Change" would be coming? Maybe springtime ??
Everything 'new' is already painted, a gorgeous light blue (IMHO!), just the small matter of rebuilding it and finishing off a long list of other mods. The batwing and tourpak will remain as below, partly because they have tank decals on them and they are now unobtainium. I did manage to get a couple, at high rarity prices, for the 'new' 6 gallon tank. Other 'new' parts include both fenders, later saddlebags with under-seat battery - but that's enough for now!
Try you local craigslist/mca, I am not sure of what a Virginia winter consists of but I found a corbin solo with no studs, conchos nor tassels for $40. I was so satisfied with the price I didn't even dicker around with the guy.

VA winters aren't to bad but not many people around here ride year around like i do. I check craigslist daily. Seems like every seat I find is for a late model though. I've got my buddys corbin on it right now and it's ok but does not compare to the Mustang seats I've had on other bikes. It also seems that Mustang is one of the few that has a seat as wide as the stocker. Even the corbin is a couple inches narrower.
I have a 95 Electra Glide and have been looking at the cheapo trunks but they all seem to be for 97 and up. Is there a big difference in the mounting etc. Any tips?
I think with a little work any years will fit. The most important thing is that the 600 watt amp fits:
