I got it cleaned up and finally got a chance to go for a ride today. Lucas 20/50 in engine, primary and transmission. It looks like it's leaking from the inner primary onto the sprocket. Then dripping onto the drive belt and getting slung back onto the case. Definitley need to get this taken care of since I'm thinking the oil will wind up ruining the drive belt.
Definitely worth fixing, but how long has it been leaking? Both my Evo's tend to develop leaks over the winter that go away as the temp warms. We've had some untypically cold weather this year, my Dyna had a steady drip out of the stator plug the other day, for about 2min, then stopped as the temp came up. I've gotten to the point where I stop worrying about them, intending to do something about it whenever I decide to go into that area, but not fixating on it...
20/50 is the wrong thing to put in your primary, you need a 75w90 Hypoid gear oil....or ATF.
The leak is probably the Inner Primary Bearing seal and the bearing is possibly in need of replacement. Oil anywhere near the rear end is not a good thing so for the sake of 50 bucks and 3 hours work I would recommend that you do it ASAP.
Thanks for the input. I have the service manual and parts manual, but to me it's not real clear on how to go about it. I checked with my indy and he recommended that once into the primary, also do the trans seals since you are almost there. Aslo replace the shifter seal and starter jackshaft seal.

Yes, do all of them as long as you are in there. I replaced everything that needed to be replaced during my chrome inner primary & 3-phase charging system installs this summer.
This was my first time doing this project and the first time really working on my bike. Read the Service Manual, get the appropriate tools (as my Dad said, "right tool for the right job.") and get after it.
It may seem daunting at first, but take your time and you can easily do this.
Well I took it to Pro Twin Performance / Baxter's Garage here in Lawrenceville. Jeremiah puller the inner primary housing and it turns out that the back of the housing was boogered up. Someone tried to get around it by using silicone on the seal, but it was still leaking. In addition to doing the seals, it will also be an inner primary housing.
I got beat on pretty good on this one but fortunately after over 1,000 miles
there's no leak and the spot on the case is bone dry. I know this doesn't mean
it will hold up forever but at this point it's a waiting game, but least the tiny
piece of box cutter blade hasn't split the cases yet
