Yeah that's the problem....everyone that has been to spanners place is under a cloud of suspicion now, which is a crap situation, I sure hope spanners finds them or the *** returns them cos this chit don't need to be happening to him.
For the record they were Softail badges and looked like this:
Get your self some cameras and a dvr. I did 2 outside my house, a 4 CH dvr, keyboard, read write DVD burner in the dvr and a monitor. $1300.00 bucks. It has caught 1 house break in, I car getting it's tires robed at 3am, and brought me a ton of peace of mind.
I get the peace of mind thing Gliden but when your friends are the people coming to your garage, you shouldn't have to set up a surveillance system to monitor them. Spanners, I hope that if your circle of friends and customers is small enough so that the thief is found and torn apart. That's BS, plain and simple.
What burns is that everybody who comes here (and that was a fair few people over Christmas/New Year) is supposed to be a mate or a mate of a mate (I work by word of mouth mainly) so I can't trust anyone anymore....it isn't about the money...
that is what sucks the most. material things can be replaced, but trust is earned, and friends , or mates, ain't supposed to backstab each other.
I hope there's a camera handy if or when the badges show up,
looking forward to your next one on
