Default Missing longshots bracket

Picked up a used set of Vance & Hines longshots for my '95 FLSTN softtail. I have everything I need except the rear mounting bracket. Been looking for a few days and not having any luck finding one. E-mailed V&H and havn't gotten a response yet.

Called my local dealer and he quoted between $125-150.00. Seems pretty steep for a bent plate. My question is has anybody just built their own, had any problems with it? The take off plate is 3/16" so getting a clean break is a concern. Thanks

Any good fab shop should be able to break 3/16" flatbar anyway you want it without issue.

I've had better results calling V&H. They're very good on the phone.

V&H will have it. It's P/N 349-P. It ought not cost more than 40 bucks. Good luck!

Thanks guys. I'll wait to talk to a live body. $40 range sounds reasonable, and easier than making it.
