Default Part number help

I fixed my speedometer...I think. It works on my drill, don't know yet how well it works on the bike, I'll find out tomorrow. Simple thing though, so I have high hopes. But the PLASTIC worm gear for the odometer is finished. I wonder if that part existed separately or not. I don't have a parts manual, so I was wondering if one of you fine gents could tell me if it is listed separately, or as an assembly. Here is a pic, not real good but my batteries were shot in the camera, but you get the idea.

Thanks TD, not much help though, doesn't look like the speedo is broken down, just an assembly. That's ok, thanks.

You could try a few speedo repair shops.
Maybe one of them will provide you with a new or used part to fix yours.

I did know there were "speedo repair shops." Anyway, had the bike out today, the speedo moves, but is about 15mph off, shows 30 at 45. I just took the speedo back out to see what else I can do....not much. Sprayed it down with silicone hoping to free it up a little more, I guess I'll see. Cold front moving in, so the bikes in for a while. Thanks all.

I imagine there are several around the country.
I'm on the other side of the country from you in San Diego County. There are few local to me. They say they do forgien and domestic vehicles including motorcycles.

There is also San Diego Speedo-Tach. I had a speedo rebuilt by them.
Their number is (619) 235-0314

Search Google for part # 67211-86a

couple of options

If this new one is a legit price, it'll probably cost about the same as shipping, parts, and labor to repair yours.

Bike week in a few so may want to hit the flea market outside Daytona speedway and look for a used replacement or 1 for parts. IMO the original stuff is much more robust than the aftermarket crap.
