If the speedo on Blu's bike went **** up, so did a lot of other 20+ year old speedos. If the newest EVO is 14-16 years old, a lot of us have or will be finding that some things are getting hard to get.

Congrats on your speedo.
What happened to mine was the odometer broke, and the worm gear disintegrated and went in the speeod unit. I cleaned it, but couldn't save it. What puzzles me is the construction of the speedo. A metal disc floating inside an aluminum drum. It looks like either air resistance, or possibly a magnetic field from the disc turns the drum, which is the drive for the needle. Weird way to make a speedo I would think, but then it's Harley. I could find no way to calibrate the thing.
I find it hard to believe that there would be that many snipers after that particular part.
What ever the reason I'm glad you got the part you need.
Now I know! But the speedo works, so I got what I wanted. I got a tach and a chrome panel mount, and a speedo dial that says "Police Special Certified" if anyone wants them.
