I have the 95 Heritage Special, my third HD....first evo. Like it more than my previous twinkies. Wide WW's will change the look of the Heritage dramatically..like night and day (for the better). Personally, I think it is the best looking bike HD ever made. The wife and I have done several long trips on her with absolutely no issues....and that's with the stock seats. I'm no expert, but some others on here will be able to comment on possible "negatives" with pre 1995 models??
If you love the bike you have why do you want to replace it?
What about the EG makes you think it is a better bike?
I don't think it's a "Better" bike, it's just a another bike...But a bike I helped design and build, practically to MY wants...just with his checkbook (it's what he wanted from me!)

I don't disagree with a single thing you've said. WW's are really thing only thing this bike is really missing IMO!
"but a bike I helped build and design, practically to MY wants".......you left that little tidbit of information out....complicates the decision just a tad. Maybe put some cash down and have your buddy carry you for a little while making payments. But you still gotta do them WWWs!! Funny, but just my opinion.... your color combo is one that the whites really make pop!
