Well...The Heritage didn't sell on Fleabay...I guess the hipsters all wanted Twinkies! My gain...so to celebrate I took her out for an all day affair...though she's my daily driver already LOL!
So I've put about 1000 miles on her in the past 14 days and I have really grown to LOVE and appreciate the perfect balance of weight, which the EG just can't compare to! Regardless I told myself if she didn't sell after one round of auction I wouldn't get rid of her...
...So she stays!! 14" ape hangers and lowering the rear come first (My lower back needs apes for posture on long rides)...Second comes a Super E (Dual Edelbrock setup will be for sale)...Then tires!
All I can say is, I've owned 1 of each, knuck, pan, shovel and my present EVO. The EVO is the most trouble free of them all, engine work is simple and straight forward, and can be made leak free. Mine is 18 yrs old and I built it from the ground up. It's still an 80" but I haven't felt the need for more power (except at the drag strip). I love my EVO!

That's perfection to me! I need a super E!
I just got my LaRosa solo bag in and mounted, black leather with red stitching to match the bike...
TheBanditColorado...She looks like a Beaut, but I love my girl! My buddy's EG was just a bike I'd love to build if I had the money! But I've moved on past that idea...
edit: forget it. I looked at TD sig pic and it looks the same.
Someone mention TD?
BTW OP, congrats on a great decision! I'm going to continue to make Scarlett my own......Air horn coming, WW tires coming......shift linkage.......and more CHROME for sure...........

You put more chrome on a bike??????
Whoda thunk it???
Yeah TD...I just returned from a beautiful ride and she's just a wonderful ride...but I need some apes to keep me from slouching so much on long rides.
If anyone is interested (or knows someone who'd be) in the complete dual Edelbrock setup, or the complete handlebar setup off my bike (with SS braided lines) please let me know.
Well a couple of weeks ago someone contacted me out of nowhere and then came by and offered me my asking price on the Heritage...so I said yes and sold her. It was hard to do, but I knew I really wanted a bagger that offered more space for my daily commute...so here she is...
Recently had a full top end rebuild, brand new Super E installed and she runs great. Front end needs a flush and fill but everything seems pretty solid so far. Need to get rid of the pillow top, replace the radio and speakers, handlebars controls and grips and a back rest/ luggage rack (no tour-pack here.)
