Well, fortunately for you poo-pooers, you all don't have to ride HIS bike!

They are fugly though, misfit.

At least they're functional.

Haha. I don't mind the criticism. I find it helpful. Thanks. I really didn't expect them to be that big. I did get out today and they are definitely sturdy. Man can you Put some **** in them

And that right there is the most important thing about saddle bags IMO.

How do they attach? Do they use those twist lock thingies? If so, pitch that and put some 1/4" x 20 screws or bolts in there with some nuts/washers on the back side, or make a nut backing plate.

They mount with steel mount plates that support the underside of the bag. Rubber isolator mounts go on top of the brackets then the bags mount with bolts through the rubber isolator a to the brackets. The brackets solid mount to the fender rails like regular hard bags. But you can move the mounts front or back with the different drilled holes. The bags themselves are lockable and supported in the interior.

OK. As long as they attach with some type of screw fastener. The twist lock things that came on my bike were crap. My friend got some aftermarket bags for his twinkie softtail. They came with the same type of twist fastener. I told him to replace them with some 1/4"x20 hardware. He didn't. The new bags that replace the one that was left and the one that was somewhere in the past 200 miles are fastened much better.
