First, I can't wear a full face for numerous reasons. Too confining, too heavy, reduced line of sight, difficulty getting all my hair in, etc., etc., etc.,
Second, that is way too distracting to be safe IMO.
No thanks, I'll stick to experience, safety habits and hair liberating lighter half helmet
Hey Blu
Unfortunately no. But the Posers did come here to NY to visit and ride with me. We had a great time. I did get to GA again. Oh and to TN again.
I wear a shark evoline modular. Around town Ill ride with it as a 3/4 Helmet, over 40 or so and in the colder weather I ride with it as a full helmet. No problem with field of view, and it never gets uncomfortable.
I've never used a helmet. Don't see any reason to start now, someones got to be a statistic, could be me! Especially in Florida. I hear about at least one or two every week in the Tampa area. Watch those people, they really don't see you.
Arai full face since I started riding in '97. I get a new one every 5 years. I have a 1/2 helmet and it nearly killed me- jumped on highway, sucker took off like a parachute and the chin strap was choking me at 70mph. Had to ride with a hand holding the chin strap. That sucked. Maybe in the summer and behind a windscreen I'll try the 1/2 again. Not to mention the deafening wind noise over bare ears.....
