Currently running a Propipe, they make several different ones under the same name. Would look for a older one, the baffle ubolts out the back and can pack it to make it quiet, gain power down low. Can make it loud by removing the deflector which is a hi output baffle, put auto hose clamps over a row of holes to change backpressure so it is flexable and a cheap purchase used.
It does have a sound of it's own like mentioned earlier, the small packing at the end of the baffle is known to blow out but easy to fix properly. Does it work as a 2-1 design, yes it does.

First generation Propipe, it has the megaphone muffler design
They make a BP which is blueproof but the baffle can't be removed, newer Pro Pipe is a stepped muffler and different then the older megaphone muffler design, they make a black HO Propipe which is for big horsepower. The older pipe can remove the end cap and about a 8" baffle comes out with it, I also have older baffle that is 14" but don't see them to often, it put too much backpressure for my engine but pulled real hard low and restricted on the the top side.
The older pipe can be worked with, good chrome and any blue can be rubbed off the muffler which will give you something to do. Can get the older pipe cheap on Ebay and not a big gamble being a cheap price because buying exhaust is a gamble to meet the owners requirements, if you get one used make sure to get the rear mounting bracket, it is different.
It does have more of a roar instead of a flap flap so be prepared for that, with packing in the rear of baffle as designed it has a deeper tone and some backpressure for a stock engine but the sound can be controlled in either direction.
