It's on my list of choices when I do go 2-1. VnH pro pipe, Freedom performance union, or Cobra pro hp.
Would LOVE to have LSR pro stock, but a little too pricey, takes quite a while to get (built to order), and I have read they can be a little snippy when it comes to customer service. They are the best sounding pipes I have ever heard on an EVO, though!
I had put the PRO pipes on my 2010 Street glide. Would I use them again NO.
The baffle inside the muffler was welded together so poorly that it ended up busting in to parts which I ended up rewelding back together. The srews that bhold the billet end cap in place even with red lok tight would work their way lose. The heat shilds were to small so you can see the pipe underneath . I also had the V&H air cleaner and the Fuel pak. The fuel pak was the 1st thing to go. Total $hit. Along with the air cleaner which started coming apart also.
The Super Glide came with one. It looks OK. It sounds OK. Really sound more like a small block Chevy than a Harley. They make, or did, a quiet baffle for it if it's too loud for you. Smart Partz also make one. The stock baffle is easy to get out and modify. I drilled some holes in the end of it. Now it sounds more like a Harley but it's loud enough to become annoying after a while.
I haven't noticed any quality issues other than the rear header heat shield being 1/8" too short. If you can get it aligned perfectly it will actually cover, I've done it but I don't remember how.
I considered replacing it then I watched a youtube by some hot rod builder/instructor. He gave a pretty good explanation of the difference between a 2 into 2 and a 2 into 1. The basic advantage is in eliminating a torque dip in the upper end on the low rpm torque curve.
It's a decent pipe for the money. It's not too loud out of the box and can be made louder or quieter.
