So......can someone verify what year model inner fairings will mount on my '94 EG? I realize that the outer fairing will have to be replaced also. I'm considering an upgrade, just want to understand my options.

It will help us greatly to answer your question, if you tell us what you have in mind! What do you want to achieve by doing this and why? 2014 bikes come with canbus electrics and everything electrical in a '14 batwing is designed for that. You need to understand what is required electrically to do such a swap. In addition, the '14 bikes have new forks and trees, so I suspect the batwing won't be a simple swap, as it now encases a bigger top tree than our bikes.

Thank you very much for the reply. As you can see from the attached picture (hopefully it attached) that my EG has the old style gauges that are mounted on top of the nacell. My thought process with the '14 inner and outer replacement is pretty simple if it will actually mount to the bike. I would like to remove the area of the inner fairing that contains the display screen along with the compartments on either side. I believe this would give me the visibility of my gauges and allow me to mount speakers where the speedometer and tach are. Your thoughts are appreciated.

IMHO it would be a lot easier to adapt an older FLHT fairing.

The light isn't good in your photo, but I suspect your batwing is similar to mine, which I adapted from an early 80s bike. Some versions had added radio etc. I actually bought an '87 batwing complete with all the instruments etc, one of the earliest in the style of the 2014, but simply adapting the electrics, between bike and fairing, was too much for me!

There is a big gulf between your bike and a '14, which will be a challenge to resolve. It's early days to pick up a bargain '14 fairing assembly so you can try and will cost a fortune to buy new! I am fond of saying that it is our duty to prove that we can retrofit modern stuff onto our older bikes, but it is early days yet, to offer you any helpful advice.
