Got to thinking about it today and believe the difference may be when they changed from bottom breather to top.. The later model "top" breathers needed larger banjo bolts, so it really should be a bolt on for older bikes, maybe with washers. For early to newer, might be a problem.. I think you'll be just fine.. Let me know how it works out..

Thanks Greg! I think you're right. The one I have now came off a top breather. I just have regular bolts and washers and put the rubber plugs over them more for appearance than anything else. I'm sure it will work too. Thanks a lot for all the trouble.

No trouble at all, I just happened to have a bit of time today and one sitting in my attic... Worked out well for both of us... I did put $50 insurance on it if anything were to happen
