Default speed bleeder

I am replacing the pads on the rear brake, finally got the stripped bolt out, and had to disconnect the brake line. While I'm there thought I would add a speed bleeder. The question I have is, are the fronts the same as the rear? I am going to the local auto parts stores tomorrow to purchase. thanks
