I was at the store and saw the digital clinometers so picked one up. Bought some laser lines too but didn't end up needing them. The bike felt slightly wanting to lean left I could ride no hands but I could feel it. I threw my angle gauge on the frame and discs and they matched perfect. Went digital and the front and frame were 0 and 90 but the back wheel was 88.8. For anyone doing this is recommend going digital to save the trouble of redoing it. 1 degree is quite a few turns on the stabilizer link. I was very surprised how off my readings were. I triple checked before snugging up it's 0 90 90 now at all three points.

Just for what it's worth...Ace Hardware has a lift that works PERFECT for Dyna's!! it's a craftsman's and was like $130 bucks or so... One of the best things I ever bought for my bike!!

I'm not buying any more tools! I took it for a good ride, nice and straight, handling as good as I could expect a 98 harley to handle. Got it up to 95 mph nice and stable, the wind however kicked my ***.

Funny how tastes differ, I have ridden in the USA with a windshield and hated it on the highway.....well I hated it the whole time actually....but I wear a full face lid which probably makes a difference.

. Last time I was on the highway was twelve years ago on a crotch rocket and I had a full face but you can tuck down and get to 150 and it's smooth and quiet with the full face. I'd never sit up straight at that speed the buffeting would make you dizzy. I do the half now but for the most part I'm buzzing around town enjoying the ride and for what it's worth it's still a DOT half. I enjoy the harley at 40-45 mph where on the sport bikes I had to get over 100 every ride and wheelie every possible straightaway, different times, glad I've moved on. I think I'll look into a quick detach windshield. Spanners, next time your in the states I need you to come work on my bike.

Plans afoot for another USA road trip but still a coupla years off unless I upgrade my job and then it will be sooner.
