Go buy an hour (or less) of dyno time at a reputable shop that knows how to tune a carb and set up an EVO.
I hate to say it, but, they WERE filthy............

Yea, I'm thinking I'm gonna bite the bullet (like that?)....and drop her off at the stealership......

Heck, Scarlett is SO slow.....I passed MYSELF in this on the highway.......

The Auburn/Cord Museum isn't all that far from me. Probably three hours of back road riding. One of the trips I want to do before I croak. Along with the Air Force Museum in Dayton.

If the stealership has someone that knows how to run a dyno and knows how to tune a carb'd bike then go for it. Otherwise, I would suggest you find a good indy that has a dyno. At the very least you will get a baseline set of numbers. But remember this, dyno numbers vary from dyno to dyno, and atmospheric conditions can effect them. Everything is just a 'ballpark'. What you are looking for is the Air/Fuel ratio across the band, and a few other things.

Seriously, get an aftermarket ignition. You'll see how horsepower climbs above the OEM module. I don't run mine above 3700, but on occasion, I will twist it up above 5200. You will be surprised at the way 80" will pull at that rpm.

I have a Evo with a cam in it, I think EV 27 (seller never found the paperwork but this is from his memory) and a stock injected TC 88 in my Springer. I hate to say it but it's clear to me that my TC 88 is faster when I go back and forth. I've raced for so many years that my butt dyno is pretty accurate.

But the EVO sounds 100% better even with straight pipes on the TC 88.
