well my 91 heritage had some short swept exhaust with no baffles that just looked like crap on the bike to me. bike ran really well, and sounded ok, but was pretty loud in my ear on the highway.
so i swapped exhaust over to some vance and hines longshots with the stock baffles. much better look and sound to me, and tons better going down the highway.
what i didn't expect was i'm going to have to rejet again. for some reason i had it in my mind that going from short/no baffles to long with baffles the bike would probably run a little richer. well it isn't! at about half throttle she sorta falls on her face. i pulled the enricher out about a 1/4 inch and she runs great. looks like i'll be tearing the carb apart and doing some jetting!!
