I have a '95 lowrider with vance and Hines big radius, which I have removed the baffles. I have lost a little midrange by doing this and not to mention the bike is louder than hell. My question is can I install exhaust cones on the exhaust flanges to increase the back pressure and get the mid back or am I better off putting the baffles back in. I personally don't like the tangy sound (for lack of a better word) with the baffles in and as fas as I know there is nothing aftermarket I could install except for the exhaust cones.
I'm not sure how the baffles are bolted in your pipes. I have V&H BBS. on my 07 FXDWG.

OK I have installed the exaust valves and have seemed to gained back my mid. I still have a lot of decel popping. Will this lead to valve or engine problems or is it ok to run the bike like this?
