One thing that confuses me. These tanks are either 5 or 6 gallon ( haven't filled it up yet) but the paint looks factory. Did Harley offer larger tanks back then as an option? If this wasn't done at the Moco, then someone is really good at duplicating a factory paint job.

On a FLSTC the stock tanks (4.2 gallon) look a bit narrow, 5 gallon tanks look about right and 6 gallon tanks look fat.
