Ahhh dammmmitt. We forgot to pick a fictional date in a fictional location and plan a meet up of fellow Evo owners. Which all would reluctantly cancel... we forgot the Evo meet and great 2014.
If I had to do it over I would have stuck with just the cam.
Best bang for your buck on our evos IMO.
Yep, I were to do it over I would skip the high compression pistons. Sounds better and gives it a little more oomph, but the trade-off is its more finicky to tune and premium gas only.
Knowing what I know now, it would be a K&N filter in stock housing, an EV27or EVL3010 cam, and 2-1 exhaust. Noticeably more grunt, and virtually stock reliability.

Thanks for info. I did my rocker boxes last summer with the good rubber factory gaskets, I may try and get away with popping them off rather than adjustables. I'm just really having a hard time with the gear swap and measuring clearance shim etc.

I'd buy new gaskets they are cheap and I like new gaskets when I work on something.
Any specific questions or do you want my number and I can talk you through it when it is time?

Thanks man. I'd was friends with a mechanic at the hd dealer that said they would swap it for me but that was a while ago. I'll pm ya with questions when I do get ready to lighten my wallet.
