Am I floating the valves or what? Every time I reach 100 mph on my 97 RK, which has been supposedly stroked to a 93 ci, I hear this upper valve train noise. It usually backs off when I slow back down but hell, if I can't run this bike like I want to run it, I may as well get rid of it. I ride hard and I need my bike to hold up to riding hard. Does it sound like I'm floating my valves or what? If so, what can I do about it????????????????????????? This has all been happening in 5th gear. The transmission has 6th gear but it seems to be virtually useless.
I appreciate any feedback I can get from folks who might be able to teach me a thing or two. Peace.

to many things this could be for a real informative answer - 93 inch motor well is it stroked or all bore -- what kind of power does it make on a dyno and peak torque number -- what ignition do you have and what is the setting Does it have the VOES -- WHAT is the engine speed at the time its ( pinging < my guess ) - did the shop that the job use aftermarket spring do you know what they put in - does it have stock lifters with the replacement springs - what CAM does it have - what compression does it have -- do you wear a small pot helmet with NO ear pulgs or a full face
just a few questions that will help you get a real answer
