Hi Guys
Was out today for a ride and thought I would put the old girl to the test to see what she would put out. I had the tour pack removed and left at home. When hitting wot I got 160 kph eventually. Bike runs like a charm but was wondering is 160 kph about average on an 89 flhtp at wot?
Thanks
Lynn
Some guys can't tell you cuz their bikes won't go that fast. Some guys can't tell you because they're too scared to go that fast. 100 mph is very good but you should be able to get some more. I'm too scared to get that fast and back off after the century mark...
Not sure if the HQ rumble stick cam , V&H pipes , Killer Carb , ultima ignition would all be considered as non stock to the point it would make a difference on wot. I would think the main jet would make or brake the wot max. True or not? I can see a good Samson 2 into 1 maybe making a difference. To me it was like it had no prob getting to the 140 kph mark and then just took a bit of the wait till you get there to hit the 160 kph. Also I'm taking into consideration its a flht which translates to wind resistance which is why I made a note of the tour pack being removed.
I have no prob wanting more wot since I installed the true track , and the new E3's , its like riding on a rail.
