No riding this weekend I had to make some steps down to the veggie patch for Mrs S and today was all about getting a 1948 Matchless Classic Racer going again......you think you know wet-sumping? This thing laid an oil smoke screen for a full 10 mins before the rider could find his way back up the hill to my house....at least a Harley just dumps oil on the floor, this was like a WW2 smoke screen!!!
I need to do a major chrome polishing. I also need to give the engine a good degreasing. It worries me about degreasing the motor, I don't want to create any leaks.
