I would have to stand on the seat to reach the throttle , wonder how he keep his hands from falling asleep from lack of blood in them

To back up he probably grabs the bars down by the risers. I do that myself to keep from moving the bars in the risers. Even with my 14" apes I learned to not pull or push on them too much or they will move in the risers due to the leverage so I grab them down low.

It's great for piggyback riding.

My buddy in the double decker picture above told me the bars are 32" on 14" risers.
