Hopefully this new S&S 124" will last longer than the stocker. Ive replaced/repaired everything but the wire harness and front end.

Several here have recently gone with a big inch motor.
Man am I jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have not. after reading through the forums i've heard so many "waste of my money" reviews on cams that i got a bit scared off. plus i had an old timer once tell me, "never tear down a running bike" and that kind of stuck in my head for one reason or another.

My wife and plans of a new kitchen are not! Kirby should be done with it in a week or so. Says it should be about 130/130. Still not twice as fast as an evo but the engine alone will cost as much as a runner.

I received the same kind of advice before I bought my Harley. With the exception of the stage 1 upgrade, my motor is completely stock and will stay that way until it needs work to be done.

To make a fairly strong evo with min work I would only go.. Cam, carb, ignition, 2-1 exhaust. Then don't touch it, it would have stock longevity and nice power.

My TC sounds like an Evo, feels like one when I am riding it and is way better long distance than any of my Evos have been...my TC has a Carby and will get gear drive cams when it next needs lifters.

The frame, tranny and running gear are all the same as my Evo but it doesn't have an issue with base gaskets and (stock) was faster than my Ev27 Evo.

Most TC haters have never ridden one for any amount of time.

It doesn't matter what ya ride but it does matter where your head is at....

2 things come to mind why I ride a evo. 1st, it is payed for, 2nd the over all simplicity of the bike, knowing I don't have to count on the dealer to fix it with a computer.....

I rode a stock '06 Heritage that was no where near as fast as mine with an EV-27. It may have been due to the B-motor that is in the softails.

As for the last line when are you gonna post pictures of you on that pink moped??????

My EVO does everything I need and want it to do for now...it has a Vthunder cam, some Vance and Hines slipon's and sounds like a bike should.
