The crate the guys in Philly built was a brick shithouse. Damn. The bike could have fallen out of a plane and been ok.
Bike looks as expected. The only bummer was that the battery was all but dead. Not sure how long its been around, but it was a cheapo Wal Mart special that wasn't even the sealed type.
Tossed it. One of the local HD dealers is a mile from my shop, so I drove down and bought a factory battery. Fired right up. A little cranky for the first minute or so, but then it settled in and ran fine. The trucking company wanted the gas drained out of it, but apparently no one bothered. It has a half a tank of gas.
Tires seem passable. Decent tread and no rot/cracks. Oil in the tank looks fresh.
Runs nice and strong. Got it titled and registered no problem.
I'll give it a good once-over tonight, but for now I'm going to go riding.
