every one forgot the pinion gear. if its the wrong one you will have to change it. Andrews uses the red gear set if your stock cam is not red you will need a new pinion gear.

That is why I told him to swap cam gears back in post #2.
That way you don't have to mess with the pinion gear.

Changed my cam out for the EV27 just last month! Have to say, you'll be surprised at how easy it is to do the work and save hundreds of dollars by NOT sending it to your dealer.

Don't forget Oil, Oilfilter.
Keep in mind that the cam might need shims.
Just as impotand is to get the tools needed for the job.
Torque wrench, etc etc...
You could go for assembly lube, but a pint of oil will do the trick just as good.

You can check your local dealer to see if they can do it or a good local indy or a real good machine shop.
