It seems to change when I adjust the carb. Really gets annoying when warm.

Me too. Ran good for a while. Then started the low speed/rpm miss.

No carb cough, just an annoying miss when I'm going slow.

If I turn the accelerator pump off, it goes away for a while.

Changed the slow jet to a 28, went away for a while, then returned......

Gotta be a carb prob. At least that's what Texashillcountry says..... And we all know HE is ALWAYS right...... BWAAAAAAAAAAA!

I guarantee, along with all the new parts, my carb will be CLEANER than new when I'm done tomorrow.

The only part I don't have is the S&S intake seals. The guy at S&S told me the HD seals I bought might not be doing the job. Crap, I had no idea the sizes were different.

I'll be trying to get those in the morning.

Cometic & James top end kits have them and they fit, of course they're made for a stock motor and not the individual carb manufacturers. Think of it this way, when a carb is swapped do they adjust the intake on the heads?

Post 2004 S&S intakes are larger in diameter than stock intakes.

Certainly put the S&S seals on, if that's what their guy said. Next up, what plugs are you using? Try some NGK Iridium 2115 / BPR5EIX-11 gapped at .041, or the next heat range hotter.

Seems better. Carb is overflowing. Guess I better re-check the float level.

Just got back from 60 mile 2-up ride, she ran good. Float was off so I tweaked the tab and she stopped leaking.

Tater helped too...... You, you, =@&:_#:@@=@):'@@$)@#)':
