Were you able to get the new seals for the intake?

Wait that might mean THC was wrong Never mind

Not as noticeable, but still there.....But my carb is oh soooo shiney...........

An no, I did not change intake seals because I sprayed them with carb cleaner while she was running and it had no effect.

How many turns out are you running the accelerator pump? Could it just be overloading your plugs? Default is two turns out. 280 and what is the main jet?

Change the intake seals...S&S use slightly different seals, the issue may not show up at idle so do it properly and also remember this one weird trick (your mechanic will hate me for telling you this), a Wisconsin Mom saved $2371.00 with this simple trick..."most carburettor problems are electrical".....what happened next blew the minds of an entire city...

I'm running a 68 main now. Plugs are as white as snow and the motor is not popping or anything......


I'm about 1-1\2 turns out on the ACC pump.

Yep, I'm thinking the same thing. S&S guy told me to change them, Dr. Hess told me to change them, THC, well, I don't give a shoot what He says (;-)) now you say to change them..... no one round here has them, so, I'll get them coming ....

You will NOT believe how fast I can change jets, remove the carb, rebuild the carb, etc......I'm getting kinda tired of it though........


I'm hanging out the EVO repair shingle.........NOT!
