Biltwell seat hinge trouble
I installed a spring mounted seat on my Softail.
I used a Biltwell hinge and 4" springs.
The problem is there is a lot of side to side play in the seat. It feels like I'm bouncing all over the place. Going into turns feels like the seat is coming off.
I do not have this problem on my shovelhead which has a jerry rigged COB hinge or my Ironhead which has a FabKevin hinge. Both of those seats are rock solid no movement side to side.
Are the Biltwells just bad or did I not install it right? Probably should've gone with the FabKevin in the first place.
