Need to replace the front end on my crashed fxsts. Found a few on the net but all the ones I seem to find have the fender tabs instead of the mounts for the dog bones for a floating front fender. Anyone know if these tabs are removable and or how to go about changing it over to accept the dog bones so I can use my original front floating fender set up?
The ones you are looking at are 88-92...the one you want is 93 up...both the front and rear forks have different part numbers,so there is no simple way to change from one to the other. the rear half of the fork has a -88B part number so you might get away with changing just the front fork...but it is a $500 part...anything else would require cutting/welding/re-chroming.

After some ebay searching I found a set of "replica" forks made by a company in Europe. The company's website is Samwelsupplies.com and V-twin is a distributor.

I have seen the "replica" springers on ebay made in the Neatherlands...they look good, but I have never seen one in person...they claim they fit 88-97...but the picture appears to be an exact copy of a 93-up springer...they are $1000 higher than the link you posted from v-twin(which claims to fit 88-05) so I doubt it is the same one...I would bet the link you posted is an over-priced DNA.
I thought I had read (somewhere???) that V-Twin Manufacturing was all made in China or Taiwan. Good quality but made in the orient. No personal experience with their products.
Thanks tom. I saw that speinger on ebay and asked the guy a few questions which is how i came up with the manufacturers website. It listed vtwin as a dealer but i couldnt find it on their site.
