Default Air filter

I bought a 1992 fatboy and was checking the air filter it shows part no. A055E4 the front says evo only. The lowrider I had had same part no. A055E4 but said twin cam only. I replaced it with 0800 would it be same replacement on evo?

The 0800 works with TC or Evo but on an Evo its usually done with the Hi Flow backplate.

Is this a k&n filter? By that number and a search it seems that it is. If so, why replace it? Just clean and re-oil it. Or is it damaged?

The three holes are bent in a little from previous over tightening I searched the part# Couldn't find much. The back plate has been changed still can't figure out why the filter from the low rider says twin cam covers only and the one from the evo says evo covers only with both having the same p#. I will order an 0800 and see how it goes. Thanks.

everything lines up with the 0800 the only difference is the cover likes about 1/8 of an inch sealing to the rubber seal on the filter because of the height of the threaded bolt hole for cover. Should be ok any thoughts?
