It is rare (but possible) that a battery goes that quick and maybe its not a grounding situation. it is common that there is a poor connection to the stator at the case (they're only a male-female push pins) Have you had your charging system tested?
Well when the bike running it charging at the battery at 14.5 so the system is good. I did think it was regulator but with it being at a constant 14.5 it's working. I looked at the stator plug and it doesn't looked burnt out. (Some pics I've seen is the male ends start to blacken). I came to the conclusion it was the battery for when I pulled it of the battery tender it was at 13.5 Then it was steadily dropping .1-.2 pretty quick till it got to 12.8 then over night it drop down to 12.1-.2 hovering and did a load test/start the bike and wouldn't turn over or start. New battery started just fine. been in over night haven't been out to check it.
I just looked at battery sittin at 12.9 so there are no draining on system so I think batter was the problem

Those are good numbers for your charging system.
Go get a good battery and try again.
Just so you know when I say good I don't mean the cheapest piece of **** you can find.
'Good' means AGM to my mind, they have higher cranking amps and give great service life. That's a type of construction, 'absorbed glass mat', not a brand!

You and me both but some people go and buy the cheapest thing they can find and then wonder why it doesn't last.
If you want something to last you have to be willing to spend a little money!

The one that was bad was agm so it must of just been my luck. Got a new AGM battery about $30 more but with a two year warranty. I don't get any other type battery just to much work checking the levels and chit
Nothing wrong with a good old sealed batt. They will perform just fine.
The newer stuff is cool but they come with newer problems .
Be aware of the newer stuff as they require new type. chargers etc. $$$
A decent Harley approved aftermarket battery will last you many years and the cost / appraisal is much better than the new matts. stuff etc.
Its your choise.
