Yes there was insurance on the bike which is another story as they wouldn't pay cause I did not have security of the bike as it was not in my hands .
Repainted the frame  fixed all the scratches and nicks and pry marks !

Getting it cleaned up removing the fingerprint dusting and crud .

Got hte trans in and put back together as they took it apart

Security cruising the area  !  Engine back in , must be getting old didn't seem that heavy to put in before !

Well as some of the parts where missing like the inner primery and chain and stuff . I received a 3" belt drive for it years ago from my friend who didn't use it in his build some 20 plus years ago
I tell you what these belts are not easy to put on as they do not stretch as made a turn buckle to help slid on the shafts and they nicked up the shafts  so had to do a lot of hand filing to take the burrs off

I do like the looks of it but it was a whole day of putting it on as just one problem to the neext as the kit was fine just fixing the stuff that the crack heads did

I can say that I'm really happy with it going forward as it brings back a lot of memories good and washing out the bad ones !

It's coming together very nicely.. The purple frame color is kind of retro to the early 2000s and goes very well with that BDL primary.. NICE... I really like the way it's coming together... what do you think the power is going to be with that Turbo and do you have any work to the heads? And as usual I'm going to need to know everything that's in the motor.. thanks.. I'm kinda a power junkie.....

Did a little work today on it and was going fine till I can't find the rear brackets for the oil tank .
Got the coil pack in and the fuel pump and horn  brackets all in  . Workingon the rear swing arm
