Default Rinehart Differences??

Other than the obvious appearance differences, what's different between the Rinehart standard 2 - 2 exhaust and the crossbacks? Do they sound different? Performance difference? From photos, I don't see a cross over pipe or anything like that on either system. For a Softtail if it matters. Thanks guys!

Tried to ask Rinehart. They say the crossbacks are better performance than the standard 2-2, but they didn't really expand much on the answer. No one has any other thoughts?

My dealer had a wide glide done up with the cross backs and they sounded amazing but I have never heard a regular 2 into 2 by Rinehart

I've been running my Cross Backs for years, and I've never heard a better sounding pipe. I bought them the second they were available, and the performed much better than the V&H BR pipes than came off.
The reason the CBs perform better is because the first part of the pipe is squeezed down a little more and a little longer to help prevent reversion.

Thanks for the info! Obviously the pipes and the company are great, but when I emailed them about the differences, the tech response I got back was pretty dissapointing. Oh well...cross backs don't come in black anyways

I'll be able to weigh in after I get a set ordered and slapped on!
