Vance Hines Exhaust 2014 Fatboy

Hi All.
I have a question. Later on next Month I plan on doing an exhaust upgrade to my 2014 Fatboy. I am going with the vance and hines big shot staggered. My question is that I have the smart security system on my bike and I will need to pull the battery to re-route the 02 sensor. If I unhook the battery will the smart security then have to be reprogrammed by harley davidson? or does it retain the code even if I unhook the battery.? I am hoping that if I disconnect the battery then when I am done hook it back up then I will not have to re-enter the security code again. Thanks for the replys.

If you have to pull the battery to do what you need be sure and remove the Neg. side battery cable first and you'll be okay on the security sys.

After pulling up some of the wires under the seat, I was able to pull the sensor plug through the frame to put on my Big Shots. The hardest part was getting the plug-in back up in there.
