Default Exhaust Wrap

Hey guys. I'm planning on wrapping my new V&H competition series exhaust on my Fat Bob. For the guys who have wrapped an exhaust, did you use one roll of wrap or two? The wrap I'm looking at comes in 25' rolls and im getting it in a 2" width. 25 feet seems like a lot to use on each head pipe, but then again, I've never done this before.

Don't know anything about that exhaust set up but on DEI's homepage there is a program for calculating how much wrap you need for a particular pipe: http://www.designengineering.com/cat...-lr-technology

Default effects of titanium wrapped headers

When I spoke to the V&H technical department they insisted that using titanium wrap on the headers would void the warrantee and cause overheating of the exhaust system with eventual failure.

Does anyone have an informed opinion about the positive or negative effects of wrapping?
