it's a shame HD didn't use a better grade of plastic on the tensioners. there are grades that are self lubricating that never wear out. my neighbor works at a printing company and similar tensioners are used there and they never wear out running 24 hours a day. but save a dollar on 25,000 bikes they saved $25K.
