What does it sound like and are there any other signs (other then noise) that you can look for. Yesturday I noticed a funny sound from my motor. Sounded like someone was winding up a toy (constant) but louder. Today I went for a spin maybe 2 miles and nothing. Very weird.

 

The noise you refer to sounds like your primary chain...though tough to say without hearing it or a better explanation.

Check your primary chain, the noise will change as the motor heats up

That's exactly when it happens. Is it normal, Should I be worried? I don't remember my evo making a the same noise but then again it was a hell of alot louder.
