Have a 2011 Electra Glide Ultra Limited. Stock air cleaner and stock exhaust. Mufflers are V&H's double roll 4 inch. Was thinking a bout removing Cat. but was told by a Dyno guy there is zero benefit and in fact performance could suffer slightly. But I might see the pipes not as hot by the feet. But just a little. Tons of that debated on the site here. After all that if I get the fullsac sport pipes for touring. Do I need to Dyno?
Before an list of rebuttals. The reason a stock pipe and a fullsac are different rearguards to "no cat" is where the crossover occurs. Harley stock pipe when the cat is removed is a large open chamber. Allows more flow. But flow is not directed. Which can affect performance. Or so I was told.
So again the question is, Fullsac Dyno or no Dyno? Is it worth the coin. With no air cleaner changes? Thanks
