Default D&D 2:1 with added Big City Thunder baffle

Just got off the phone with BCT and they are recommending that I install one of their baffles inside of my existing perforated baffle. I don't like the raspy sound of my 2:1 and BCT claims by adding their baffle, it will deepen and Richey my tone, while improving mid range torque? Is this true??? Anyone done this??? Thanks

While I haven't ever used the BCT baffle, I added a homemade lollipop type device to my short shots on my previous bike. I could definitely hear a difference. Before the mod they were really raspy, loud as hell but not really deep. After, it took out some of the higher pitched tones, made it not so raspy, which made it seem a bit deeper to me, and still loud.

I can't speak about increasing midrange or any affect it had on power, but I liked the sound better.

BCT baffles will give you a deeper growl and won't guiet your exhaust.
