Is Cary Fass Racing going out of business?? from the little bit of searching I have done it seems like these exhaust are becoming harder and harder to get your hands on. Or does anyone know of another exhaust that has a similar sound. I love the way they sound after hearing them on a newer road glide. I went to CFR's website and there it wouldn't give much of any information. They will be going on a new street glide special.
BUT, if you want a badazz sounding pipe these are for you.
HOWEVER, it does come with a price, lost of low end torque, some have had a real hard time to get a proper tune.
If you ride with a pack, get use to being in the back or riding solo.
Are they that loud with stock headers with the catalyst?? Not looking to do a full system, just a set of slip-ons to give it a little bit more throatier sound. Listening to my sport bike over the years has pulled me away from exhaust to where u need ear plugs if your going to ride for any extended time. What exhaust do you recommend

With the stock catted head pipe they are not that loud at all. As others have mentioned, they do lose low end torque, but if you love the sound (like I do) you don't mind the trade off....It is just another reason to do more engine work!
