I have Rinehart Racing full system (Slimline Duals with their heads) on my 2014 SGS and the system is very loud. I recently contacted them to see if they make a 'quiet baffle' like some of the other manufactures do (V&H for example) and they told me that they do not, but suggested that I could wrap their baffles with 4-stroke packing and that this would lower the the sound by approximately 10% without any loss of performance. Which sounds like an interesting approach.
My question is.......is there a way to do this while the slip-ons are still on the bike, or do I have to remove them to get at the baffles? Truthfully, I do not know how/where to access them, or which repacking to use, or how the process itself works.
