I am wanting to get a set of Rinehart slip-ons but dont know which ones to get. Which ones are generally louder? 3.5" or 4"? what about baffles? are racing baffles available for Rineharts? I have heard that thrown around a few times.
I have the 3.5" on True Dual headers and really like them but I don't know how they compare in sound to the 4". They are manageable around town and even going down the road for extended rides but they will crank it up when prompted.
I have the Rinehart duals with 4" exhaust with the louder baffles. I was told the 4" is little deeper tone then 3.5" and I switched the quiet baffles out and am very happy with the sound now.
I run the Xtreme true duals, 4" mufflers with the Hi-Flow 2.5" baffles (stock baffle size is 2.25"). Sounds great now. The Hi-Flows aren't a ton louder at idle, although they sound deeper. At heavy throttle, they really wake up.
I had the 3.5" mufflers and I put a set of Big City Thunder QQ baffles in the head pipes. They sounded great especially in the higher gears. I also put some PM scalloped end caps on and they changed the note noticeably as well.
I've got a set of black 4 inch Rhineharts. I bought them last month from another member.was going to put them on my 15 limited.I traded it in for a 16 cvo and it came with chrome rhineharts that I decided to keep.pm me if you're interested.

I didn't think end caps would change the sound much at all, but maybe because of the scalloped out sections it allows the sound to travel out differently? I've thought about changing my end caps at some point so thanks for pointing this out.
im running the slim duals... 4" i added their pro baffel for a little more sound .. the sound is a deep low rumble...not cracky ...will not wake the neighbors unless you were on it .. i had V and H on the last 2 bikes...i would wait for people to pass by before starting so they didnt **** their pants....
