Just purchased 2010 Ultra, with 12000 KM or 7500 M on it. I'm not a real mechanical guy when it comes to motorcycles. I have read that removing the cat out is an advantage.
I'd like to remove the CAT out by a core drill with only having to take off the one muffler. I'm not sure what size core drill to use to do that. To me, if at least that is drilled out, would make it almost a thru pipe.
I don't have a manual yet to fully understand how to remove the header pipe and reinstall, but that's coming. Or, I'd probably attempt the cut out method.
Can someone give me advice on which exact size core drill to use, diameter size and length? Possibly where they picked it up.
I believe I have to remove the two 02 sensors out prior to drilling.
