I have a 2014 Ultra Classic Limited (103") with Screaming Eagle Stage 1 air intake, stock head pipes and Screaming Eagle Boom Cannon slip-ons.
Originally I was looking at the Vance & Hines Power Duals (X-pipe) but the scraping issue has me looking into 2:1 systems.
Does anyone have the power duals on a 14 Limited and if so, do you scrape them?
I like the sound of the Rinehart 4" slip ons. Looking at the options below, and any better options you may have:
1) what are the pros and cons to each
2) How loud are they? I don't want anything so loud that I can't hear my radio cruising on the interstate at 85 MPH
3) performance of each
I have had the V&H power Duels on my RGU for nearly 5 years/62K miles. Yes, they do scrape.
The Jackpot series from Fuel Moto cant the X-Pipe in so that it tucks in quite a bit. Also, the X-Pipe is actual pipe, not 2 pieces of stamped steel that has been welded together.
When my Power Duels finally die for good, I will be looking at the Jackpots for my next system.
If you are concerned that the PowerDuals may scrape at extreme lean angles I would take a look at the Jackpot 2/1/2 head pipe or the Jackpot SuperDuals. Both of these systems would work very well with Rinehart mufflers and would offer excellent performance and sound, with no issues with ground clearance. This combo would be right there performance wise with a 2/1 systems, we also carry each of the three 2/1 systems you listed and you can find dyno charts for them on our website on our Dyno Charts page http://www.fuelmotousa.com/p-33193-dyno-charts.html
My buddy has the Jackpot 2-1-2 head pipe on his 2014 FLHX with 3.5" Rinehart mufflers and he LOVES the exhaust note. Never scrapes the exhaust, floorboards yes lol, exhaust no.
