Guys,
I've decided to get the Edelbrock Dual Carb Setup for my Softail and I wanted to get some feedback. What kind of performance should I expect to see over a single? I just want to hear what you guys have to say....Thanks!
I had one on one of my customs and that thing was a friggin nightmare.......I understand that they have gotten better, but my was a HUGE piece of sh*t, I replaced it with a 48mm Mikuni and it ran much better with no problems, just make sure you can send it back if you dont like it, without a restocking fee, I wouldnt ever sell another one....it was that bad.
wouldnt run right, even had their crew at Daytona rebuild it, kept coming apart, was very hard to tune even for them, made me swear off of dual carbs for life, but I am sure that they have gotten better, maybe I just got a lemon, but I have had like three customers in the last year that want me to put one on, and I am like NO WAY, cause there is a really good chance (in my mind anyway) that it's going to fail, and I just dont need the headaches. Good luck if you go that way, surely they have gotten better.
