Hey all,
I've got that Screamin Eagle air cleaner with the round dry element air filter. Just got it and like it but close to having to clean/service it. I was told it can be cleaned and reused at least a few times. Is this true? If so how best do I clean it? How many times can I re-use it?

Tis true. Clean it by...
[ol][*]Remove it.[*]Tap it lightly against something like the sidewalk, large stone, wall, etc to remove large debris[*]Use a cleaner like the K&N air filter cleaner solution...follow their instructions.[*]After letting it work in a little, rinse with water from the inside out.[*]Let AIR DRY...do not use an air compressor.[*]Put 'er back on.[/ol]Not sure how many times it can be reused...should be good for 5+ years I'd think.

Thanks alot, sounds logical - I've had K&N filters for a long time. This is the sameminus the "Oiling" part is all I guess.
I like this filter cuz you can clean/service it on aroad-trip practically - just take a couple hour break while it dries in the sun and you're back in the race!
