My uncle is needing to replace the fuel pump on his Heritage. Does anyone here have any tips or details. My 06 Nightrain is not having a problem but if it ever does I will need to know this too. Thanks
The whole intank fuelsystem assembly - including the pressure pipes, filters, pump, and pressure feed chamber can be purchased as a complete sub-assembly for around the ÂŁ250 GBP mark.
If you purchase a new pump assembly(which includes the tank pick-up filter), it costs around ÂŁ140 GBP.
If you take the new pump option, I would suggest purchasing a new pressure feed chamber filter (Filter,Fuel with O-Ring) - ÂŁ15 GBP, and the fuel feed line to the petrol **** (inclusive assembly) (Check Valve Body)- ÂŁ40 GBP.
